In any event, I just wanted to share some basic holiday lean math...
Lean is largely about satisfying customer requirements.
Understanding a process' cycle time is extremely important, especially in the context of takt time. In a mixed model environment, cycle time can be a bit less straight-forward.
Labor density is not a measurement that is thrown around very often, at least explicitly. Conceptually however, it must be resident somewhere in the lean thinker's headset.
